To begin, please get in touch with me through the contact form here.
We can then arrange a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs, address any questions you may have, and determine if I am the right fit for you.
Following this conversation, if you decide to proceed, we can schedule a full appointment at a convenient time.
We will meet for an initial assessment lasting up to 50 minutes, where we will discuss your current difficulties and what you hope to gain from therapy.
This session will allow us to explore what approach may be most suitable for you, and together we will create a plan for therapy.
If we both feel that therapy would be beneficial, you will have the option to continue with further sessions.
It is your choice whether to continue with therapy, and there is no pressure to do so if you do not think it is right for you.
The number of sessions varies based on each person's individual needs and goals.
Some people benefit from short-term therapy (8-12 sessions), whereas other people may find it helpful to have longer to explore and address their issues.
I am able to offer short term sessions, as well as longer-term interventions, depending on therapeutic need and your requirements.
We will regularly review this together in therapy.
Yes, everything you share in our sessions is kept confidential.
However, there are two situations where confidentiality may need to be breached.
The first is if I believe there is a significant risk of harm to you or someone else.
In such cases, I will encourage you to seek support from your doctor or other relevant support services.
The second is if I require professional guidance on an aspect of our work together, in which case I may discuss it with a clinical supervisor.
When doing so, I ensure that any identifying details remain confidential.
I provide both online and in-person sessions.
In-person sessions are held in a therapy room in Banbury, whilst online sessions are conducted via a secure video platform.
